License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the FollowerScan app for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is subject to compliance with these Terms of Use and does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you.
Description of Service
FollowerScan is an Instagram analytics tool that allows you to:
- Track your followers and following lists over time
- Identify new followers and lost followers
- See who doesn't follow you back and who you don't follow back
- View follower and following statistics
FollowerScan does not modify, delete, or alter any content on Instagram. It is a read-only analytics tool.
Acceptable Use
By using FollowerScan, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its underlying technology.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful software.
- Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Use the app in a way that violates Instagram's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
- Use the app to stalk, harass, or track individuals without their consent.
User Authority and Responsibility
By using FollowerScan, you confirm that:
- You are the rightful owner of the Instagram account you connect to the app.
- You have the authority and necessary permissions to access follower and following data from your account.
- You are solely responsible for how you use the analytics and insights provided by the app.
- You will not use the app to access accounts that do not belong to you.
FollowerScan is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the app. Users agree to indemnify and hold FollowerScan harmless from any claims or disputes arising from misuse of the app.
Instagram Access
FollowerScan requires you to log in to your Instagram account through a web-based login flow. By doing so, you authorize FollowerScan to access your public profile information, followers list, and following list. Your login session data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Subscriptions and Payments
FollowerScan may offer auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at our sole discretion if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.
Intellectual Property
The FollowerScan app and its content, including logos, graphics, and software, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our express written permission.
Third-Party Services
FollowerScan interacts with Instagram and other third-party services. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy practices, or terms of use of these third-party services. Please review their respective terms and policies.
Instagram's terms of service and API usage guidelines must be followed when using FollowerScan. Your use of Instagram is subject to Instagram's own terms and conditions.
Disclaimer of Warranties
FollowerScan is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Any errors will be corrected.
- The app will be compatible with all devices or operating systems.
- The data and analytics provided will be 100% accurate at all times.
- Instagram will not change their platform in a way that affects the app's functionality.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information.
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the app.
- Any actions taken by Instagram or other third parties that affect your account.
Our total liability, under any circumstance, will not exceed the amount paid by you for the app or its subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your location. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
