Why Unpost stops on a rooted phone or emulator
Disponível em inglês
On Android, Unpost checks with Google Play that the phone and the app haven’t been modified: when it starts, and again the first time you open each platform after launching it. A phone that fails the check either shows a short notice a few seconds after Unpost starts and goes no further (on a first launch the screen can stay blank), or shows Unable to start Unpost right after you tap Connect or an account on Main.

What fails the check
A rooted phone, an unlocked bootloader, a custom ROM, an emulator, or a modified copy of the app; a copy that didn’t come from Google Play can fail too. Unpost has no setting that skips the check.
- 02
Use an unmodified phone
Install Unpost from Google Play on a phone that isn’t rooted, or use Unpost on an iPhone.

Seeing “Unable to start Unpost”?
Usually the connection or an out-of-date app is the cause: check your connection, update Unpost, then tap Try again. On a rooted or modified phone it appears right after you tap Connect or an account: that is the device check, and Try again won’t help.

Seeing “Time to update”?
Platforms change how deletion works without notice, so older versions stop working. Tap Open Google Play (Open the App Store on an iPhone) on that screen, which also shows your installed and required versions. Your accounts and settings stay on the phone.
Bom saber
- When it starts, Unpost also checks that the store can list its subscription: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone. A phone whose store isn’t working stops at the notice.
- If your phone isn’t modified and Unpost still stops, email contact@unpost.app with your phone model and Android version.
