How to unsend Instagram DMs on both sides

Deleting a conversation clears your own inbox and nothing else. Unsending removes the message for everyone in the thread.

1. 01

   Pick the DM selection

   Choose DMs on the Instagram account, not the posts or likes selections.

   In der App Main → Instagram → unpost.user → DMs

2. 02

   Choose the conversations

   Select individual threads, or all of them if you are clearing an old account.

   In der App DMs → Conversations

3. 03

   Run it and let it pace itself

   DM unsending is one of the slower jobs. The pacing is deliberate — Instagram is strict about bursts.
