How to delete other people's messages as an admin

Admin mode exists for Discord servers and Slack workspaces. It is the only way to delete content you did not post.

Choose Delete as Admin
Pick the mode on the account screen, not the standard cleanup flow.
In der App Main → Discord → unpost.user → Delete as Admin

Select the server and channels
Only the places where your account holds the right moderation permissions are listed.

Choose whose content to remove
Pick from the member list, or add someone by user ID if they are not shown.

Apply date or keyword rules
The same filters work here, which is usually how a moderation cleanup stays targeted.

Gut zu wissen
- In one-to-one DMs you can never delete the other person’s messages. No tool can — the platform does not allow it.
- Moderation deletions are permanent and often logged by the platform.
